Founded in 1965, Addie Mae Collins Community Service was established in honor of Addie Mae Collins, one of the four young girls who lost their lives in the 16th Street Baptist Church bombing. For nearly six decades, we have remained committed to expanding opportunities for children and strengthening families throughout East Harlem and neighboring communities.

Today, we provide high-quality Head Start and Early Learn programs for children ages 2–5, creating safe, engaging environments where every child can learn, grow, and build a strong foundation for the future.
